Privacy policy

DTDA SAS attaches particular importance to users' right to privacy and undertakes to protect their personal data in accordance with applicable French and European law. No personal data is required from visitors in order to browse the website www.dtda.fr.

This privacy policy (the "Policy") sets out our practices regarding the information we may collect on the site and how it is used.

1. Identity of the data controller

DTDA SAS acts as data controller for the personal data collected on the site:

DTDA SAS
SIRET: 823 871 843 00012
9 rue Montbauron, 78000 Versailles, France

2. Scope and acceptance of this Policy

This Policy applies only to information collected from www.dtda.fr and does not apply to information collected from other sources, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or any other third-party site or social network.

By using this site, you accept the terms of this Policy. If you do not accept them, we invite you not to use the site or not to send us any personal information.

3. Data collected on our site

3.1 What data?

We collect and process in particular your surname, address, email address, password, telephone number, IP address, connection and browsing data, order history, preferences and interests, products viewed, delivery incidents and complaints.

Whether data is mandatory or optional is indicated at the point of collection by an asterisk. Some data is collected automatically as a result of your actions on the site.

We also carry out audience measurement: number of page views, number of visits, visitor activity on the site and return frequency. With your consent, we also measure the effectiveness of our advertising (see article 3.7).

Mobile applications: no data is collected from our applications, whatever the platform used (iOS, Android, Steam).

3.2 When?

We collect the information you provide, in particular when:

  • you create your customer account;
  • you subscribe to our newsletters;
  • you place an order on our site;
  • you contact our customer service.

3.3 Purposes of collection

Each form on the site restricts the collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary and systematically states the purposes of the collection and whether the data is mandatory or optional.

DTDA SAS may under no circumstances use this personal data for a purpose other than those explicitly stated on the form and accepted by the user. Likewise, this data may not be transferred or assigned to third parties without an explicit mention of that possibility on the form.

3.4 Recipients of personal data

The personal data collected on our site is intended for the Customer Service, Shipping and Accounting departments of DTDA SAS.

It may also be passed to various third parties according to the needs of DTDA SAS, in particular our service providers (maintenance, logistics, payment, marketing), as well as its professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors), insurers and banks.

Finally, DTDA SAS may disclose personal data to judicial authorities, law enforcement or any other authority where required by law.

3.5 Transfers outside the European Union

Data concerning you may be transferred by DTDA SAS to companies located in countries outside the European Union, for the purposes defined in these terms. Prior to any such transfer, DTDA SAS will implement any procedure required to obtain the guarantees necessary to secure it.

If you accept the measurement and advertising cookies (article 3.7), browsing data is collected by Google Ireland Limited and may be processed by Google LLC in the United States. This transfer is governed by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC has adhered.

3.6 Retention period

DTDA SAS retains your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, generally for the period strictly necessary to manage the commercial relationship. Data used for commercial prospecting is retained for a further three years from the end of the commercial relationship.

Some data may be kept longer where a legal obligation requires it or where it is needed to establish proof of a right or a contract. When your data is no longer necessary, DTDA SAS ensures that it is deleted or anonymised.

3.7 Cookies and local storage

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept Google's audience measurement and advertising cookies. They are set only if you click “Accept”: if you decline, or until you answer, none of these cookies is set and no Google tool is loaded.

Cookies subject to your consent, loaded by Google Tag Manager:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited): measurement of traffic and of the path through the site (pages viewed, visit duration, origin, device type). Cookies _ga and _ga_…, kept for 13 months at most.
  • Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited): measurement of the effectiveness of our ads (a visit or an order following a click on one of them) and, where applicable, showing our ads to people who have visited the site. Cookies _gcl_… on this site and Google cookies on its own domains, kept for 13 months at most.

Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which you are asked again. You can change it at any time through the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page; declining deletes the Google cookies set on this site. To learn more about how Google processes this data: policies.google.com/privacy.

Strictly necessary items, which are not subject to your consent:

  • A session cookie (PHPSESSID), set by our server. It remembers your basket, the shipping destination you picked and the messages meant to be shown to you only once; it also serves the authentication of the site's administration. It cannot be read by JavaScript (HttpOnly), is limited to this site (SameSite=Lax), and is deleted when you close your browser.
  • Your answer to the cookie banner and its date, kept in your browser's local storage so that you are not asked again for 6 months. They never leave your device.

Whatever your choice, a cookieless audience measurement is also carried out by a tool built by DTDA SAS and hosted on its own domain. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. On each page viewed, it sends the address of that page, the page you came from, your browser language and your screen size. None of this data is passed to a third party, and none of it leaves the European Union.

You may delete the data stored by this site at any time from your browser settings. Deleting the session cookie empties your basket.

4. Your rights

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, modify, rectify and delete the data concerning you. You may also withdraw your consent to any processing based on it.

You may ask DTDA SAS to restrict the processing of your data (that is, to keep it without using it) where its accuracy is contested, where processing is unlawful but you do not want it deleted, where it is still needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or while compelling grounds are verified in connection with your right to object.

You may also object to any processing based on the legitimate interest of DTDA SAS. If you exercise this right, DTDA SAS will cease processing unless it demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds overriding your fundamental rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

To exercise these rights, contact us by email at [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In France this is the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Where there is doubt as to the author of a request, DTDA SAS may ask you to provide proof of identity.
