Epireia is an elegant strategy game for 1 to 4 players, playing in 45 to 60 minutes.
The story
In Epireia, players step into the sandals of a City Administrator, vying for dominance in the age of Classical Greece. The game unfolds over three scenarios, weaving a web of strategic possibilities. It is set during a period of tension and ends with a great battle.
Your goal? Lead your city and its league to hegemony by mastering multifaceted gameplay, from construction to diplomacy to resource management.
Epireia is an asymmetric and versatile game, full of historical references and clever actions, designed by Sergio Matsumoto in collaboration with the YouTuber Questions d'Histoire, and illustrated by Manon "Stripes" Potier.
The game
Epireia brings the ancient world back to life with 30 Greek personalities — politicians, artists, queens and athletes — each depicted in vibrant, hand-drawn illustrations. Dive into the epic tales and vivid lives of these iconic figures and discover the glory of ancient Greece like never before.
Players will navigate through the founding events of Greek history, seizing opportunities to change the course of the past in their favour and forge their own legendary hegemony.
